The Power of Dreams

We have talked previously about motivation and imagination. We know how powerful they can be. Today's video is a summary of all that, it is about the power of dreams, the motivation, it is an incredible story about a kid and his dreams, and how he made it into a reality. This is the windmill that William built when he was 14 years old in a forgotten place in Africa, just to have light at night. You need to consider that electricity is a good that only 2% of the population of his country could afford. So, it looked like an impossible dream. He did it mostly alone, just with a book as a reference. All started with wood sticks, bicycle and tractor pieces. This was the first wind turbine for electric generation in his village and country. Hemos hablado anteriormente acerca de la motivación y la imaginación. Sabemos lo poderoso que pueden llegar a ser. El video de hoy es un resumen de ello, es acerca del poder de los sueños, de la motivación, es una historia increíble acerca de un joven y sus sueños, y como los convirtió en realidad. Es el molino de viento que William construyó a los 14 años en un rincón de África para poder tener luz en las noches. Más aún que la  electricidad  es un bien que sólo un 2% de la población puede disfrutar. Es decir, un sueño imposible para muchos. Todo lo hizo sin mucha ayuda, más que un libro. Empezó con maderos, partes de una bicicleta y unos pedazos de un tractor. Así empezó el primer molino de viento de generación eléctrica en su aldea y en el país.
