Mining with WeDo+

New designs will be coming to the blog. In addition to the base WeDo Set (158 pieces), there will be designs that also use the WeDo Resource Set (325 additional pieces). LEGO provides 4 designs with instructions, but we will introduce many new models. For now, there is the Underground Mining Loader, based on the CAT R1300G design. A heavy truck for serious work!

Website Update

If you were having difficulties trying to reach our website on Tuesday night, the technical problems should have gone away. Today, one of our visitors (thanks Esther) pointed out a problem that many of you may have encountered before. There were times when trying to access the photo instruction link, the system was directed to a blank page. I must apologize if you may have waited long to get this issue solved. Most of the time, when right clicking on the link to open it on a new page or tab, the problem went away. There were some fine tuning details at the hosting service that may have cause this inconvenience. Now everything should be working as it should.  You can report problems leaving a comment or using the contact form. More than 20,000 views in less than 7 months!

Si tuviste dificultades tratando de navegar nuestra página durante la noche del martes, los problemas deben haber desaparecido ya. Hoy día, uno de nuestros visitantes (gracias Esther) nos indicó un problema que algunos pudieron haber encontrado. Algunas veces cuando se intentaba acceder a las instrucciones se abría una página en blanco. Debo pedir disculpas si han tenido esperar mucho tiempo mientras se corregía este asunto. La mayoría de las veces, cuando se abría el enlace en una nueva página o pestaña (tab), el problema desaparecía. Habían algunos ajustes técnicos a nivel del servicio de hosting que pudieron haber causado esta molestia. Ahora todo debería funcionar como se debe. You will find more than 250 pages of documentation. There is more than enough to get busy for a while! John Hefferman (Williamsburg Schools, Hampshire Regional School District, Massachusetts) has developed an extensive curricular material from Pre-K to 6th grade. Quite a lot to choose from. Walking Robot from RoboCAMP

We have more than 15,000 visits! Thanks to Wojciech Syrocki from RoboCAMP that visited us at our facebook page. RoboCAMP is a wonderful company from Poland working in educational robotics from years ago. Wojciech surprised us with a great video, a walking robot, specifically the AT-ST walker model from Star Wars. Since our fans always love to have the instructions, we just created them.. Because it is not an original design from We Do BOTS, we are not posting the instructions here, but you can check them on facebook.
